Rowan Dartington today announced that it has appointed three new investment managers in London, Manchester and Liverpool as well as an equity research analyst in London and a stockbroker in Bristol, as part of its recruitment drive to support its rapid expansion throughout the UK.
Expanding in the North
In Manchester, Johnny Arthur is joining the firm from Hanson Asset Management where he was head of investment management for two years, while in Liverpool, David McNiven is joining from Quilter Cheviot after four years as investment director. The new investment managers will be representing Rowan Dartington from St. James’s Place offices in Manchester and Liverpool, working directly with private clients in the region and offering DFM solutions to SJP Partners.
Strengthening in the South
In London, Rowan Dartington is adding two members to its fast growing team with new investment manager Gregg McAlister from RBC Wealth Management and equity research analyst Andrew Wace, joining from Axa Investment Managers where he covered the retail, tobacco, aerospace & defence and engineering sectors.
The expansion in the North and in London is also accompanied by the appointment of stockbroker Edmund Mills, joining the wealth manager’s Bristol office from Beaufort Securities Ltd.
“The North and Scotland are areas with great growth potential and we will continue to increase our footprint there with more people to join us in Newcastle, Leeds and Edinburgh this year”, says executive chairman Graham Coxell. “In Johnny, David, Gregg, Andrew and Edmund we have found five great people who we are confident will be the right cultural fit and will contribute the energy and positivity that has come to define Rowan Dartington as we continue to grow around the UK.” he adds.
