Nigel graduated from University in 1986 and after a short stint with Lloyds Bank, moved into private client fund management with Shaw & Co, which was subsequently taken over by Charles Stanley in 1997.
Nine years later in 2006 he led a team of ten fund managers and brokers to Rowan Dartington to establish a London office. His main focus remains the day to day management of client funds and he is a Member of the Chartered Securities Institute.
His other interests include golf and Arsenal football club.
Mike has specialised in private client stockbroking since 1985 where he started as a trainee at A J Bekhor & Co. Following Big Bang Mike moved to Shaw & Co which was subsequently taken over by Charles Stanley in 1997. Mike has worked with Nigel Pavey and his team for nearly 20 years and specialises in CFD and Spread Betting for high net worth individuals.
Mike is a season ticket holder at Tottenham Hotspur as well as being a keen golfer.
After initially working for NatWest Bank, Julian has spent nearly 30 years as a private client fund manager. The majority of this time was spent with Charles Stanley working in their London office and joined Rowan Dartington in 2006 as part of a team led by Nigel Pavey.
Julian’s primary focus is the day to day management of client funds and he is a Member of the Chartered Securities Institute.
Stuart started his career in Private Client Asset Management with Shaw & Co Ltd in the early 1990’s, joining Charles Stanley in December 1997 following the takeover of Shaw & Co. Stuart and his team moved to Rowan Dartington in 2006.
With over 22 years’ experience in Wealth Management, Stuart undertakes bespoke portfolio structuring to meet underlying clients individual financial needs. With a large network of Solicitor contacts, for whom he also manages client funds, Stuart has an extensive knowledge of Estates & Trusts including Probate and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
Joshua has 6 years’ experience in wealth management. Prior to that he gained valuable experience in business working for the senior management of a retail business for several years before his migration into finance.
In his time at Rowan Dartington he has gained extensive knowledge of wealth management and portfolio construction and has an understanding of markets which is of great value to the high net worth clients who he helps to steer through the markets. Working with Mike Nathan, Joshua’s main area of specialism is in CFD and Spread Betting for high net worth individuals.
Kirsty began her stockbroking career at Charles Stanley in August 2002 as a Valuations Clerk. Moving to the front office in March 2005 to work with the current London Team. Kirsty was another member of the team, led by Nigel Pavey, which moved to Rowan Dartington in 2006.
She completed the Private Client Investment Advice and management qualification in June 2011 and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Nigel has 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He has extensive knowledge and personal experience across all aspects of wealth management, including trusts & estates, financial planning and Private Banking as well as investments. Nigel began his career at Barclays International, before moving to become a lending officer.
In 2000 Nigel moved to Barclays Private Bank and has a solid track record helping clients achieve their long term goals and objectives by providing holistic financial advice tailored to their individual circumstances. Having joined Rowan Dartington in June 2014, Nigel will use this wealth of knowledge and experience to help clients in London and the South East with their investment requirements.
John started in Lloyds Bank in 1983 in London and has managed Client Relationships for over 30 years. The last 15 years have been in Lloyds Private Banking, before joining Rowan Dartington in September 2015.
Calling on his extensive knowledge and experience in Financial and Wealth Management, he continues to offer a Personal Service, based on Private Clients` financial objectives, needs and goals now and for the future.
Alex has been managing client assets for 9 years having entered the industry in August 2007. Having worked for boutique Wealth Managers throughout his career, Alex joined Rowan Dartington in January 2016 and enjoys close client relationships spanning High Net Worth Private Individuals, Charities, Corporates and Trusts.
Prior to joining the Financial Services industry, Alex signed a Youth Training Scheme contract with Bristol City FC and continues to take an interest in their fortunes and indeed all things Football/Sport. Alex grew up in Bristol but lives in London and currently splits his time between the two. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
Gregg started his career with PwC before moving into the private client arena with Barclays Wealth in 2005. He then spent two years with Royal Bank of Canada Wealth before joining Rowan Dartington in June 2016. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK.
A chartered MSCI, Alex is a very experienced discretionary management professional, having spent 13 years at Williams de Broë where he built his experience utilising all asset classes and financial instruments. He then went on to work with Quilter Cheviot where he spent four years as a partner and then an Investment Director. Alex joined Rowan Dartington’s London branch in 2016.
James has over 18 years experience managing multi asset portfolios for private clients and their associated accounts. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and also holds the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Diploma in Financial Planning.
Prior to joining Rowan Dartington James was a Director at HSBC Discretionary Wealth Management, where he was responsible for assets of c. £150m. Before joining HSBC James worked for Newton Investment Management and NatWest Stockbrokers.
